Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar Passed Away Due To Cardiac Arrest : Bollywood Helpline

Power star Puneeth Rajkumar passed away on Friday afternoon after suffering cardiac arrest. He was 46 years old.

Puneeth was rushed to Bengaluru’s Vikram hospital after his complaint about chest-pain during his gym session. His mortal remains will be kept at Kanteerava Stadium to enable fans and well-wishers to pay their last respects.

Puneeth Rajkumar, the youngest in the family of acting legend Dr. Rajkumar and a superstar in Kannada cinema, fondly known as ‘Appu’ by his fans, he was among the highest-paid actors and a renowned television presenter.

Puneeth started his acting career as a child artist along with his father. He won the National Film Award for Best Child Artist for his role of Ramu in Bettada Hoovu (1985). Puneeth also won the Karnataka State Award for Best Child Artist for his performances in Chalisuva Modagalu and Yeradu Nakshatragalu.
