Film and television bodies plan to write to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray - Times of India

The key office bearers of The Federation of Western India Cine Employees met top officials from film and TV producer and director bodies and members of prominent broadcast platforms to discuss the way forward in the curfew-like restrictions which have just been imposed in the state a few minutes ago. The idea was to work around a plan to sustain work with minimal losses and trouble for the industry. Ashok Dubey, the General Secretary of FWICE, said, “We will be writing to the CMO requesting them to allow the construction of sets to continue within restricted premises in the city and the state, just like the other construction work is on in the state. This will help a lot of producers in a big way and when the restrictions are lifted, they won’t have to resume from scratch. It will save them time and money.
